December Recap

All year long, we have been digging into the theme of #Mission365 as we have challenged women to learn from Jesus’ example of how he lived and led and apply this knowledge to their own life and influence. This is our daily mission as a follower of Christ: to reflect Christ in that we do and we say. Our mission never ends, as long as we have life and breath- we have purpose. We talked about this concept in our monthly teaching video this month on December’s topic of: Mission Incomplete.

One of our coordinators summed this month in her chapter up this way:

“This month has been a powerful reminder that no matter how old we are or how broken we are- that God still has a plan and a purpose for me and the other women in our chapter! We talked about how we are never off-duty as a Christian- we represent him in all moments and all circumstances.”

The month of December has been a strong finish to a blessed year for us here at LeadHer! In addition to the powerful discussion and life change that women experienced in our chapters this month- we are also celebrating these three things!

• We launched a new chapter this month in Nashville, TN! We believe that God has big plans for this chapter just as he does all of our other 32 chapters from coast to coast!

• Our first chapter in the country of India began training to launch a chapter in that country in early 2016! The woman that will be leading this chapter is passionate about challenging women to grow in their faith and leadership and help start other chapters in that country!

• We met our goal for our 2015 GiveBack Day campaign where those who have been impacted by LeadHer were asked to make a one time gift of $10 or more to support our work to encourage and equip women!

We are so grateful to God for every door that he opened for LeadHer in December and 2015 as a whole- we are humbled at the way that he faithfully moves through our LeadHer chapters to call women to deeper depths of faith and higher degrees of obedience to Him!  We look forward to 2016 with expectation and excitement for what God will do and where he will take us!
